Story of My Life Charles Joseph Boltas II was born in the basement, that's right, the dark, dreary basement of the Irving Hospital. Apparantly, there was not enough room in the newly-expanding hospital, so I was born in the basement. That beautiful morning was November 18, 1982. Now, 24 years later, here I am a college graduate with a full-time job. Weird, huh? I started school at the age of 5 at Berean Christian Academy and attended that school until the 6th grade. Starting 7th grade, I went to public school at Lamar Junior High (now called Lamar Middle School). In my first year there, I met a TON of friends of whom I still talk with today. Next, I ended up at Nimitz High School where I joined the Nimitz Drumline. Those were four awesome years of my young life where I learned discipline, respect, and my technical skills as a drummer who loved to play the quints. The last big hurdle in the book of my life ends with college. I received a full-paid scholarship, from the Terry Foundation, to Aggieland. At Texas A&M University, I majored in Environmental Design (Architecture) and eventually wanted to receive a masters degree in Visualization Science. After studying abroad in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy, I changed my mind and decided to pursue the design degree leaning towards fine art. After graduation, I decided to take a break from school and actually save some money. Right now, I'm working for the Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity Tour traveling around the U.S. and getting paid! I love my job and I love what I am doing for people around the U.S. Helping others is something I have always wanted to do, but never had the chance. Now, I'm doing that and I'm getting paid to do it! How cool is that? ------------ Resume & Cover Letter Below, you will find a couple options of how you wish to view my newly revised (November 2006) resume and cover letter.
