While studying abroad in Italy in the Fall of 2003, I travelled quite a bit around Italy. While visiting the Vatican City, I decided to tour St. Peter's Basilica. Because of the number of tourists at this popular hotspot, it is very hard to snap a good photograph. In this particular photograph, I was aiming at the above window when an elderly man came into my viewfinder and sat down. As soon as he flopped on the bench and started to pray, a ray of light poured in through the window and bathed him in sunlight. Does this picture prove that he knows how to communicate with the man upstairs? Does he have a wireless remote in his pocket?...
